SCIENTIFIC: Feldspar is the name of a family of
silicates which share the same crystalline structures and chemical compositions.
Feldspar is part of a group of aluminosilicate minerals that contain calcium,
sodium, or potassium. Feldspar minerals are the most common component of the
Earth’s crust. Feldspar color ranges from colorless specimens to white, cream,
yellow, pink, and reddish brown. Feldspar was named from the Swedish word falt
spat which translates into field spar. The mineral group of Feldspar was first reported
in 1747 by JG Wallerius. Feldspar’s
hardness is rated at 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. Feldspar
is transparent to translucent with a vitreous luster. Feldspar is found in
regions throughout the world.
ATTRIBUTES: Feldspar assists one in detaching
from old patterns while supporting and encouraging unconventional and
exciting opportunities to attain one's goals and the fulfillment of dreams. Feldspar supports the
discovery and healing of blockages and issues regarding self-awareness and self-love. Feldspar
may be helpful in locating that which has been misplaced both with actual physical
items and in seeking purpose of life. Feldspar has been found as a component of
space rocks, tektites, and meteorites. Feldspar’s energetic vibrations may
create a pathway and subsequent connection and communication to inter-galactic
intelligence. Feldspar offers an energetic understanding of previously
unidentified messages both from within or without the self.
HEALING: Feldspar may be used in the treatment of skin
and muscular structures.
