Bismuth

Created in a lab, Bismuth is a brittle, silver-white colored elemental metal with a tarnished iridescent finish. In the beauty product industry, Bismuth gives a opalescent quality to eye shadow, lipstick and nail polish. Bismuth is mixed with other metals to form low-melting alloys. These Bismuth alloys have been used in fire safety devices and safety plugs because of their low melting point. Bismuth is frequently associated such metals as nickel, cobalt, silver, tin, and uranium sulfides.

Metaphysically, Bismuth is a crystal token for travelers. Bismuth is helpful for a physical journey, as well as, being a great tool for astral traveling or shamanic journeying.
