it has been said that civilizations once existed as Plato described, who were more advanced in technological terms than anything that has survived in our archeological record.  Crystals were an essential aspect of the working technologies of these civilizations.  Atlantis was believed to have used crystals as power generators that operated more efficiently with fewer ecologinal side effects than any electrical power source used today.  These generators powered surface and air transportation as well as heating, lighting and communication systems.
