ATTRIBUTES: Stichtite crystallizes in the form of plate-like layers, foliates, and micaceous scales.  This mineral is an alteration of Serpentine and assists in the movement of the Kundalini into and through the heart chakra.  This stone provides awareness in the emotional aspects of ones life and is a good stone placed within ones living quarters, as it brings a calming peace to the environment and promotes "thinking with love" prior to "speaking with intellect".  It provides companionship to those who are alone, stimulates the inner awareness of, and promotes positive behavior modification for children.  It also provides flexibility, openness in opinions, for keeping promises and assists one in being gentle with oneself and others. 

HEALING: This mineral can be used for the treatment of hernia, ruptures, regeneration - increasing expansion/elasticity of the skin - quite important during pregnancy and for "springing back" from bouts of water retension or extra winter pounds.  It can be used to treat gum dis-ease and provide stability of the teeth.
